    Wabak Covid-19 terus memakan korban dan kes kematian masih tinggi secara konsisten sepanjang bulan lalu, seringkali angka kes harian mencecah melebihi angka 100 nyawa.

    Antara nyawa yang terkorban itu, ibu bapa kepada Nazurah Nabilah Yajeed, berusia 19 tahun.
    Arwah ibu bapanya, sebelum ini mencari nafkah berniaga goreng pisang, kembali ke rahmatullah akibat Covid-19 dalam jangka masa tiga hari, meninggalkan Nabilah yatim piatu bersama tujuh adiknya yang berumur antara 18 hingga empat tahun.

    Sebilangan besar adik-adik Nabilah masih bersekolah, kecuali adik bongsunya yang berusia empat tahun. Nabilah sendiri pelajar di Kolej Politeknik Mersing di Johor.

    Dia berkata bapanya meninggal pada hari Jumaat lalu (16 Julai) dan dua hari kemudian pada hari Ahad (18 Julai), ibunya pula meninggal dunia akibat Covid-19.
